Chlorella is a freshwater alga, it is a single-cell organism.
Its name comes from the Latin chloros – green and ella – small.

CHLORELLA SPECIES
There are over 20 known species of chlorella in the world, and each of them has a very large number of strains. The most popular is the Vulgaris species, or ordinary.
However, the species we should look for is pyrenoidosa/sorokiniana.
This species has a higher concentration of vitamins and amino acids, and also has a higher protein content and a higher concentration of the CGF factor (growth factor)
SAFETY OF USE
The key to safe use is the quality of chlorella.
It is absolutely necessary for the chlorella we buy to have certificates of purity from heavy metals, pesticides, molds and fungi.
Otherwise, instead of supporting the body in the cleansing process, we risk introducing more toxins and harmful substances into it, which can even lead to poisoning.
CULTIVATION METHOD
Before buying chlorella, it is worth checking how it is grown.
Nowadays, when chlorella has simply become “trendy”, many producers do not cultivate it properly.
It is often grown in metal tubes without access to sunlight, and it is thanks to them that chlorella contains so much valuable chlorophyll and many other substances.
It is very important that chlorella is grown in water that is clean from impurities and with access to sunlight.
DISINTEGRATED PROTEIN MEMBRANE
When it comes to choosing the right chlorella, there is almost no mention of the fact that in order for it to fully fulfill its functions, chlorella should undergo the process of disintegration of the protein membrane.
Thanks to this, firstly, it will effectively cleanse the body of toxins, and secondly, we will be able to fully benefit from the nutritional values contained in it.
The absorption of nutrients in the case of chlorella without a disintegrated protein membrane is 47%, and in the case of chlorella with a disintegrated membrane – approx. 80%.
ORIGIN
Surely we are all aware of the conditions in which grain is grown today – barren soil, poor air and water quality and, above all, spraying used by most farmers.
Now, imagine virgin soils (yes, such soils can still be found in today’s world), areas of former freshwater lakes, which today are deserts.
But it was on these soils that for thousands of years minerals were washed from the surrounding mountains into the lakes. After the lakes dried up, this soil lay fallow for hundreds of years, despite the fact that it had enormous potential.
Such soil only needs to be irrigated to turn into fertile fields.
And it is on such soil that barley grass is sown.
When its leaves reach 20-25 cm, it is cut and the emerald juice is squeezed out of it.
Thanks to the fact that it is dried at low temperatures (like in a summer wind), the green dust enclosed in the can reaches us, which is still enzymatically alive.
The most important fact is that we are talking about young barley juice squeezed and dried at low temperatures.
Young barley juice has completely different properties than dried and ground barley grass. And on store shelves, at affordable prices, you will find ground hay (please do not buy it).
